Are you an Ontario student affected by recent changes to OSAP? Hi! Are you an Ontario student affected by recent changes to OSAP? Iโm a writer for a local newspaper in the Durham Region, and weโre working on a story about how OSAP cuts and funding changes are impacting students. Weโre looking to hear directly from students about how these changes have affected tuition costs, living expenses, work hours, academic plans, or overall access to post-secondary education. If youโd like to share your experience, please fill out this Google form: https://forms.gle/d9C4gNgemNVziH4m6 All responses will remain confidential unless you explicitly agree to be quoted or identified. Your perspective can help highlight the real impact these changes are having on students across Ontario.
If you lead HR, DEI or people strategy in Canada, I have a question for you. Since January, I've been hearing directly from leaders on their experiences with neurodiversity at work. ๐ง We've talked about what's working to support employees who identify as neurodivergent, what's not, where do things feel stuck and what's one thing that would make a real difference for moving beyond awareness. Some of what I've heard has been expected. Some has surprised me. I planned to wrap these conversations in March but they're too valuable to stop. If you're an HR, DEI or executive leader at a Canadian organization, I'd love to hear from you. We can meet over Zoom, or I can send you a link to the questions. This is an invitation to speak from your experiences, and you keep control over what you share. Everything stays anonymous and confidential. My DMs are open to you, with gratitude. --- Image description: A dark green background with words in white that read: " 'Check-box' awareness training isn't the answer." Tick-borne illnesses in the region HI there. I'm a journalist with the Kingston Whig-Standard and I'm working on a story about tick-borne illnesses in Ontario, and the current research being done to advance diagnostic tools for Lyme disease. I'm wondering if there is a Kingston-area resident who has suffered from a tick-borne illness who would speak with me on the record about their experience. Please feel free to reach out if you would like to share your story! Many thanks. Meghan Balogh [email redacted] 613-305-9097
Are you getting to this weekendโs match via public transit, walking, or biking? ๐ Iโd love to chat! Iโm doing a project on walkable cities and the connection to sport stadiumโs, and am looking to interview people that prefer to get to BMO via transit alternative to cars. PM me, or comment and Iโll PM you!
