I'm a journalist student based in the United Kingdom, and I am planning to write a feature story based on Iceland's blue lagoon's, for my university assignment. After i did some research, I found that in 2025 there were quite big volcano eruptions around the area. I'm hoping to base my story on 1 specific person who was staying at the Blue Lagoon around the time of the eruption, and who may have seen the evacuation, disruption, or events unfolding nearby. I'm also interested in hearing from locals, tourists, or workers who might know more about what happened around that time. Yahoo: His & Hers Packing List for Cold-Weather Cruises My boyfriend and I are headed out on 2 cold-weather cruises in the coming months: One to Alaska, the other to Iceland/Greenland. We live in Phoenix, so it’s time to gear up, because it’s gonna be COLD and we are ill-prepared. We will be testing gear and equipment (read: I’ll need samples) and then I’ll write up a packing guide with shoppable links for cruises to places like Iceland, Antarctica, Greenland, Nordic countries, etc. Btw: We did a cruise through Norway last summer and got caught in some very cold, wet weather and our gear completely failed us …so we have vowed to do it right this time!
