I'm looking for parents of under-18s from an EU country to interview! 👋 The new EU KIDS Act and its regulations on children's social media use have sparked a lot of debate. I'm working on a story about it for Phoenix Weekly, a Chinese-language news magazine under Phoenix TV and I'd love to hear from parents who are willing to share their views. Whether you welcome the new rules, have doubts about them, or feel somewhere in between, all perspectives are welcome. I'm especially interested in how you handle social media at home and what influence of social media do you see in children . The interview can be a short call or written answers, whichever suits you best. If you'd like to take part, feel free to comment below or send me a DM. Thank you, and sharing this post with parents in your network would help a lot! 🙏 #EUKIDSAct #SocialMedia #Parenting #DigitalWellbeing #Journalism
Did VFS Global make your Luxembourg visa application easy or frustrating? Hi everyone, We're working on a story about the visa application experience for people applying to come to Luxembourg. If you've used VFS Global, we'd love to hear about what the process was like from your perspective, good, bad or somewhere in between. Feel free to email [email redacted] and a journalist will be in touch. Thanks!
Schengen border controls (ie within the Schengen area): Have you experienced any lately or seen one? I'm writing about the "temporary" checks that several EU countries have re-introduced and I'd love to hear as many experiences (or views) as possible.
I am looking for people for our #ActualPlay podcast. It would be recording one-on-one sessions of @kultrpg.bsky.social I am particularly looking for people who would be able to play in the EU afternoon (maybe in your evening) important: we make NO money, this would be for fun #TTRPGs
Food being thrown away in supermarkets Hi everyone. I’m currently working on an article about food waste in Luxembourgish supermarkets. Unlike in France, supermarkets in Luxembourg are not subject to a specific law regulating what happens to unsold edible food. For instance, a former Delhaize employee told me that they were instructed every evening to throw away all remaining bread and other bakery products (sometimes hundreds of items in a single evening). They added that the baked goods, although no longer sellable, were perfectly edible, but that management did not consider donating them to food banks. I’m looking to hear from other people who may have witnessed something similar or worked in a food business where edible food was routinely thrown away or even made inedible. If you’ve had a similar experience, even a short account of what you saw or were asked to do would be very helpful for my research. Feel free to send me a private message if you’d rather not share publicly. You can also remain anonymous. Thank you!
