I didn't think my LinkedIn #journorequest for brief #Australia and New Zealand news this morning would actually work, and I was right. It did not. Instead, I got a bunch of emails and press releases from the #ANZ PR community in my inbox that were too good to simply be briefs. So thanks, guys, for just being too good at your jobs. One such story I had to share in its entirety was that The Ward Marketing Group has appointed former Edelman APAC health chairWill Collieto launchThe Advisory Ward, a new corporate and strategic communications advisory firm. Created in partnership with group CEOStuart Black, the new offering has been established to provide senior communications counsel to #pharmaceutical, #biotech, consumer wellness, and #healthcare organisations navigating increasingly complex reputational, regulatory, and stakeholder environments. Read more here: https://lnkd.in/gUMxwF3R And please continue sending over your emails and releases (for both ANZ and APAC) to me at [email redacted]. Surely I'll be able to get something that is worth a brief soon enough. #PRovokeNews #NewZealand #PR

Built a tool comparing cricket ground boundaries — need help with the NZ grounds Sitting in the fog in the Tron today so figured I'd post this here. I've been building cricketboundary.com — basically measured 118 cricket ground boundaries from satellite imagery so you can compare them side by side. Eden Park, Hagley, Seddon Park, Bay Oval, the lot. Already got broadcast-verified data for Eden Park from the SA T20 last week (52m straight — below ICC minimum, classic Auckland). But the smaller NZ grounds like Pukekura Park, Saxton Oval, Cobham Oval, Fitzherbert Park — I'm less confident on those. Satellite imagery only gets you so far. If anyone knows a groundskeeper, works at one of the grounds, or has any official boundary data for NZ venues I'd love to hear from you. Even a "yeah that looks about right" from someone who's played there would be useful. You can check the NZ grounds at cricketboundary.com — click NZ and have a look. If anything looks off let me know. Cheers
