CSR Heads & NGO Leaders in India - Social Stock Exchange ZCZP Uptake

Your CSR budget can now go through the stock exchange. Since 27 May 2026, companies can spend up to 10% of their CSR obligation by subscribing to Zero Coupon Zero Principal (ZCZP) instruments on the Social Stock Exchange. No interest. No principal back. So why would a company choose this over a direct grant? Because every rupee comes with: -an NGO that has been screened before it can raise money -a project, budget and timeline disclosed publicly in advance -an impact report verified by an independent social auditor And companies are relieved of impact assessment obligations for these projects. The catch? Around 176 NGOs have registered on the SSE, but only a handful have actually raised money. The pipeline is thin, and the compliance burden keeps many grassroots organisations out. In this edition, I break down what the SSE is, how ZCZP works, what the new MCA rules say and what it all means for companies, NGOs and donors. I'm looking for women who changed their financial lives after 45. If you have started over financially after a divorce. Rebuilt after a business failure or losing money. Started a company at 50 or changed careers in your 60's and started making more money than you ever had. Received an inheritance and had to learn how to manage wealth for the first time. Sold a business, negotiated the biggest compensation of your career. Started investing at 50 or 60 because it was handled by your husband or partner and you're on your own now. You became financially independent, savvy after years of depending on someone else. Or made one financial decision that completely changed the direction of your life. I'm building HELEN Financial Media for Gen X women, and I want to tell more stories about what happens financially in the second half of women's lives. Im not just interested in stories about extraordinary wealth. I want to hear about stories about rebuilding, ownership, starting again, taking control. Learning late, making mistakes. African Diaspora Investors - Barriers To Investing In Africa

BLACK PARADISE INSIGHTS | BRIEF #09 — Diaspora Investment Playbook: If the African diaspora has capital, skills, networks and a desire to contribute, what is stopping more of that potential from becoming productive investment in Africa? The opportunity is certainly there. Across the continent, businesses need capital. Entrepreneurs need partners. Industries need expertise. Infrastructure needs investment. African companies need access to larger markets. And across the diaspora, there are people who genuinely want to participate. Yet between interest and investment, something often gets lost. Is it trust? Is it difficulty finding credible opportunities? Limited information? Concerns about governance or transparency? Currency and payment challenges? Unfamiliar legal and regulatory systems? Fear of losing money? Difficulty identifying reliable local partners? Or perhaps we haven't yet created enough practical pathways connecting people who want to participate with opportunities they can understand, verify and trust. This matters because we can talk about mobilizing diaspora capital all day, but unless we understand what keeps people on the sidelines, we won't know what needs to change. And I suspect the answers may look very different depending on where you sit. So I'd particularly like to hear from both sides of the bridge: For those in the diaspora: What would make you more comfortable investing, partnering or doing business in Africa? For entrepreneurs and business leaders on the continent: What makes it difficult to attract and work with diaspora investors and partners? And for everyone: What do you see as the biggest challenge to increasing diaspora investment in Africa, and how can we overcome it? I'm especially interested in firsthand experiences and practical solutions, because those lessons may be more valuable than another discussion about Africa's potential. This summer has been full of opportunities to connect, learn, contribute, and create spaces for meaningful conversations across Norwalk and Fairfield County. Looking back, I’m grateful for the many ways I’ve been able to participate in and contribute to work happening throughout our community. This summer, I had the opportunity to: 1. Interview Diane Jellerette for Community Ties, a Nancy on Norwalk (Official) podcast, for a conversation about preserving Norwalk’s history and expanding inclusive storytelling. Participate as a panelist for GirlTrek at The Norwalk Art Space, contributing to a conversation centered on community, wellness, and connection alongside Brandalyn Fulton Williams Julienne Foy Siobhan Ollivierre, MPA, SHRM-CP Dr. Sadee Forde-Cuffie 3. Participate as a panelist for the Restoration Workshop and participate in meaningful dialogue about restoration and community alongside Chantrice Barnes & @April James 4. Invite Juneteenth Flag creator Ben Haith and his family to Norwalk for the city’s Juneteenth Flag Raising, an especially meaningful opportunity to recognize the history and significance of the flag. 5. Organize Norwalk’s 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, marking my second year helping to organize this important community celebration of Black history, culture, joy, and resilience. 6. Secure my FIRST mini grant for community impact in support of my organization Black Voices for Empowerment & Progress. Thank you to CORNERS Community for being my fiscal sponsor. I look forward to sharing the next steps and insight relating to the "State of the Black Community" program. 7. Serve as a Steering Committee member of the Fairfield County Community Foundation’s SOUL Fund and participate in the Celebration of Black Philanthropy, celebrating collective giving and the importance of investing in Black communities. Research Team Leads - AI Agents Reshaping Research Workflows

Agents might be the technology story of 2026. Everyone's watching engineering and design. But Anthropic's newly released “State of AI Agents Report” has a line we can't stop thinking about: among 500 technical leaders, research and reporting was the highest target for agent deployment for the next 12 months — ahead of supply chain, product development, and financial planning. Why is “research” a top priority for agentic workflows? The report thinks leaders are making a bet. Research spans every function and level of an organization, making it a “high-leverage starting point.” Research and reporting might also demonstrate ROI, including from AI initiatives. In our broader literature review, we haven’t found great explanations for when and why organizations are investing in agents for UX research. We think there’s a lot to learn about how agents are doing research inside teams day to day, and how research-as-a-function is changing as companies integrate agents and personas. Velocity Ave is partnering with Booking to explore how agents, skills, and AI-driven workflows are actually reshaping research.
