Reporters & Journalists - OC News Project & Newsletter Contributors

Newsletter: Issue #3 - 27th March, 2026 Hello, Reddit? We would like to speak to the algorithm responsible, please On Wednesday, we hit 3,000 members. Now it’s Friday, and somehow we’re already at 3,500! At this point, growth updates are less “community milestone” and more “live observation of an anomalous phenomenon that may soon require containment.” Still, in the least ominous way possible: thank you! Every new member brings something with them. Art, ideas, jokes, experiments, lore, cursed brilliance, suspiciously specific obsessions, and the occasional post that makes everyone stop and go, “alright, who let this one cook?” That mix is what keeps The Latent Space Club feeling so alive. So once again. Welcome to the new faces, and thank you to everyone who keeps making this place worth exploring! https://preview.redd.it/jutgur26vnrg1.png?width=820&format=png&auto=webp&s=bd8c00949e1016a8c257266ba1984ead915c2405 Community Art Jam The next Community Art Jam has arrived, and this round’s theme is: "Mourning Demon" There’s a lot hiding in that phrase. Grief. Ritual. Beauty. Horror. Restraint. Collapse. Something monstrous. Something tender. Maybe both at once, because life enjoys cheating. Take it wherever you want. Elegant, tragic, terrifying, symbolic, intimate, theatrical, abstract, or utterly deranged in a way that still somehow works. As always, the point is not to create the “correct” answer. The point is to see how many different directions one prompt can fracture into once the community gets its claws on it. https://preview.redd.it/lrlp2749vnrg1.png?width=820&format=png&auto=webp&s=ef28c86691b72005d5a364b83b0a9e8046d4f3c0 (Art by Tinsnow) Still Looking for Reporters and Journalists We’re still looking for people (or beings who identify as such) who want to help shape both: an upcoming in-character OC news project and the newsletter itself For the OC news project we’re looking for reporters, anchors, presenters, or generally anyone who wants to help bring community events and The Latent Space Club universe to life. For the newsletter more broadly, we’re also looking for people who’d like to contribute articles, highlights, writeups, visuals, or ideas for future issues. This is not a grim life sentence to unpaid professionalism. It is a community project. You bring what you can, when you want, and help make the place feel more alive, more collaborative, and more weird in all the right ways. No strings attached! Pinky Promise. https://preview.redd.it/f8bg8w6dvnrg1.png?width=820&format=png&auto=webp&s=45d37bd28ff10755115139130c3d741724ed3db0 Community Lore Expo: Show us your world! Got an OC? A setting? A worldbuilding project? A pile of notes that has evolved into a private mythology with tax law and emotional damage? Excellent. For this challenge, we want you to tell us about the lore of your OC or their world in a cool comic format. Show off your setting, your narrative instincts, your visual storytelling, your dramatic flair, or just your ability to turn your own brainworms into something fun for other people to read. This can be serious, heartfelt, stylish, chaotic, funny, cryptic, or gloriously excessive. We want to see what your characters come from, what shaped them, what kind of world they inhabit, and what strange little truths hold it together. And yes, shameless goofing around is also welcome. Naturally. https://preview.redd.it/h7as34dfvnrg1.png?width=820&format=png&auto=webp&s=261358ef14db7b6e83465496448196a8aa73fb00 Community Style Remix Jam: Frame someone in a new light! Here’s a looser and more collaborative challenge. Take your own OC or someone else’s (with permission!), then depict them in an art style of your choice. That could mean pixel art, Japanese ink art, cubism, retro game sprites, storybook illustration, poetry, haikus, songs, or anything else that lets you reinterpret a character through a new lens. The fun here is not just in making something “good”, but in making people experience a familiar character differently. It’s a way to show appreciation, build connections, and bounce off each other’s creativity in a more direct way. So yes! Lovingly, and respectfully, recreate each other! Stylize each other. Turn each other into surrealist nightmares, folk songs, tiny pixel goblins, or tragic ink-wash legends. Or don't! I'm not your boss. But. Community bonding has many forms and this could be a good way to break the ice! https://preview.redd.it/87gwik07xnrg1.png?width=592&format=png&auto=webp&s=3dc49071b5c399c5565858b39fe330fde2a5e359 Closing Note Things are moving fast. Faster than expected, faster than reasonable, and possibly faster than is medically advisable for a place held together by art, lore, community energy, and whatever obscure force keeps making people show up. But that’s part of what makes it fun. Thanks for being here. Thanks for making things. Thanks for reading, posting, experimenting, collaborating, and helping this place become more than just another feed people scroll through half-conscious at 2 AM. And now, with all due dignity and journalistic professionalism: kthxbye!

Mediators & Family Lawyers - Divorce Talks Podcast - Conflict Tools

I don’t care about any likes or growth metric, those Divorce Talks are so funny and instructive I’m just gonna keep doing them. On many occasions I was taught that showing up daily on LinkedIn would be good for my business. But I find it boring AF. I realized I only like to speak on this platform when I have something to say + hopefully something useful. Showing up just for the sake of it or in order to not-disappear from this virtual professional sphere feels just meaningless. So far, Ryan 💡 McLaughlin and I have a lot to share. Our recorded calls are barely organized, a lot of times we have no script and only go with the flow, we have no clean setting, I personally have zero skill in video editing. Pretty chaotic to date, total amateur vibe - and yet I think that by doing our reps we will end up finding the right angle and provide for a lot of value. That brings me a lot of joy, it’s like starting to throw a few colors on a white canvas and see beauty in the mere creation process. Hopefully we can communicate that enthusiasm and be of any use. Our last session was about : - Tools - backed with neuroscience data - to help our clients navigate conflict - The importance to make a team with any professional helping you deal with your divorce - Key questions to ask / or ask yourself, to put one step in front of the other in the process We want to make useful content and gradually increase the value, so let us know what you think and share your ideas about what could be discussed. We also want to make it a collective work and include other professionals gravitating around conflict management, couples, litigation, mediation etc. so let us know if you want to take a part in this journey. Product & Experience Ideas for Beauty-Entertainment-Tech Features

This one is for my PR peeps representing brands and products. I’m working on some product intensive stories and could use your help. Please pitch me product and experience ideas. Note that these days I concentrate most heavily on my newsletters. Here’s what I’m working on: Evergreen pitch ideas for Hello Gorgeous! are beauty/skincare/body, entertainment in any form, accessories, spa, tech, gadgets and home chef/home decor. I’m also interested in in-person spa visits in NYC and Brooklyn. I’d love to start covering more trending spa/facial treatments and possibly their product counterparts. Also, I’d like to revive Ask the Derm, a feature that’s very popular. Another one that people always ask about - toppers for hair. I did a series last summer that got a whole lot of attention. And hotels in NYC and Florida (Boca/Miami especially), and finally chocolate and coffee. With prices going up, I’d love to do recurring features on both. Please also know that depending on the products and pitches these might also find their way to Yahoo as well (see below). Also always of interest for The Kumzits are Jewish topics, products and JVIPs I’m also always curious about books, tech and tools, quirky C level individuals or brands and agencies with incredible stories and items of interest for communicators for The Hot Sheet. Beauty, celebrities to interview, trending products, experiences, destinations and products for ITYLT (I Think You’ll Like This)on Yahoo. Please email me at with your topic or expert in the subject line to start a conversation. Please don’t include tracking links in your pitches or I’ll probably delete the entire thing!
