Young People 16-30 in Scotland - AI Storytelling Project

Young people will live with today's #AI decisions the longest. They deserve a say in how AI is built. On Saturday, 27 June, at Scotland's first-ever #AI #For #All #Carnival, we made a promise to turn that belief into action. Today, we're keeping that promise. I'm proud to announce #AIPointr: a national storytelling project from Proudly Black and Scottish, an initiative of the DataKirk, designed to put young adults at the centre of the AI conversation. Not as an audience. As authors. We're inviting young people across Scotland to share how AI is shaping their lives, their communities, and their futures, in their own voice and on their own terms. Because creativity is AI literacy. You don't need to code to understand the impact of artificial intelligence. You simply need to be living through this moment, and every young person already is. We want to hear your story. 🎥 Submit your story as: • Video • Audio • Visual art • Creative writing • Mixed media Stories are welcome in any language, including Gaelic, Scots, and the many community languages spoken across Scotland. 🏆 Prize The winning entry will receive #£200, along with national recognition through the AIPointr initiative. Who can apply? Anyone aged 16–30 living in Scotland with a story about how AI is influencing their world. No technical background or institutional affiliation is required. 📅 Key dates • Submissions are now open • Online information sessions and Q&A — July 2026 • Final deadline — 31 August 2026, 11:59pm BST 👉 Submit your story: https://lnkd.in/eCg_gPxE If you know a young person in Scotland with something important to say about AI, please share this opportunity. The future of AI shouldn't just be built for young people. It should be shaped with them. Ajmer Families With Pre-1940s Photos - History Exhibition

Calling all Ajmer history lovers - we need YOUR photos! I am one of the founders of Project Bhaskar, Ajmer. Bhaskar is an acronym forभारतीय संस्कृति एवं कृत्रिम बुद्धिमत्ता रचनाशाला(Creative Laboratory for Indian Culture and Artificial Intelligence). We are building the space as an AI lab focused on culture tech, library and knowledge club (coming soon). We have already started weekly events in AI, culture etc. We are organising an Ajmer History Exhibition in July, and are thus on the lookout for rare, personal photographs of historical Ajmer - the kind that you find in family albums and old boxes, unseen by the world. If your family has old photographs of Ajmer - whether it's the Dargah Sharif, Ana Sagar Lake, old bazaars, colonial-era buildings, or just everyday street life from decades gone by - we'd love to hear from you. Even a single photo can add something irreplaceable to this exhibition. This is a wonderful opportunity to bring hidden pieces of Ajmer's past into the light and share them with a wider audience. What we're looking for: Personal or family archive photographs of Ajmer (pre-1940s especially welcome) Images of landmarks, streets, festivals, or daily life Any era — colonial, or post-independence Drop your photos in the comments, or DM me if you'd prefer to share privately. Please include any details you know: approximate year, location, or the story behind the photo. It all adds so much context. Helps us piece together Ajmer's visual history together. 🙏

Canadian Founders, AI Researchers & Community Builders - Documentary

📣 📣📣 Calling founders, government policymakers, Indigenous leaders, and community builders. 📣 📣 📣 There are people across this country doing extraordinary work in AI. AI researchers building novel models To founders building solving problems with AI To community builders supporting innovation And most of them are not in the conversation. Not yet. I am making a documentary to change that. 🎬 Building Canadian AI centers the voices of the people actively shaping Canada's artificial intelligence future and the communities with the most to gain from it. The global AI race is happening right now, at full speed, and Canada has an extraordinary opportunity, a wide pool of talent, and a responsibility to show what AI leadership looks like when it reflects the full diversity of this country. I am looking for voices across these communities to share their perspective on screen: → Black founders and entrepreneurs → Indigenous business leaders and knowledge keepers → AI researchers and academics → Women in tech & AI → Government officials and policymakers → Community builders → Newcomers and immigrants → Youth leaders If you are one of these people, or you know someone whose story belongs in this film, I want to hear from you. 🙌 Send me a direct message. Tell me what you are building, what you believe, and why your voice belongs in this conversation. ⏳PLEASE CONFIRM YOUR INTEREST BY APRIL 30TH! #BuildingCanadianAI #CanadianAI #BlackInAI #IndigenousInTech #AIEquity #CanadianTech #Edmonton #Documentary #AIFilm #RepresentationMatters #InclusiveAI #WomenInAI #AIGovernance #CanadaSovereign

We are looking for founders, researchers, policymakers, engineers, educators, and creators who are doing real work – not just talking about the future, but building it – across six themes that define Africa's digital moment: green tech and climate innovation, emerging trends in artificial intelligence, women breaking barriers in the tech industry, the creative economy and its digital transformation, innovations reshaping transport and mobility, and AI's growing role in education. Whether you are deploying solar-powered agritech in rural communities, developing AI tools that make classrooms smarter, designing electric mobility solutions for African cities, or leading a company as a woman in a space that was not built for you – we want to hear your story. DigiTalk is not a corporate panel. It is a conversation, and the best episodes come from people with real experience, honest perspectives, and something to say that matters. If that sounds like you, or someone you know, reach out to our podcaster Megan McDonell, contact me directly, or get in touch through any of MWN's channels – our website, social media, or come find us at Booth 16D-80. Let's make your voice part of Africa's tech story.
